Keeping it simple is the way to go when you haven't the time to bead.
Shown here is my friend and co-instructor's beaded necklace - a simple but lovely design with glass pearls and seed beads.
She actually completed this during a workshop when she had the time in between helping other beaders. Another tip to speed up designs is the use of chain towards the back of the necklace.

I usually keep it simple. Necklaces that I can put together in an evening. Yesterday however I started working on a necklace from a pattern that is going to take a bit. So many intricate pieces and it isn't even made with seed beads.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet the necklace will be worth the effort in the end!
