I'm not a huge fan of wearing cocktail rings but I have come to appreciate them for another use. Rowena over at Secrets and Stilettos came up with a nifty key fob tutorial using a cocktail ring and strips of leather!
Her inspiration came from an Alexander McQueen design. She really isn't into skulls unlike that iconic designer. Her alternative choice of a cocktail ring is so much more appealing.
She used many leather strips whose combined bulk helps keep the ring in place. If you want to be extra careful, try tying some cord around the leather and the ring. Or perhaps some glue under the ring.
A great gift idea for a bling lover!

ReplyDeleteI tried that but then the gremlins came back! Too much for me to deal with! So I apologize to readers who have to do this.
