One of my greatest joys is in discovering artisans who make whimsical jewelry.  Maria, a Danish bead artisan makes small sweet beaded designs for her Etsy store, AmaltheaCph. 

Her esthetic style is rooted in her Scandinavian background.  The beaded pieces are vividly hued yet perfectly depicted with small Delica beads.  The outlining she does with black beads makes them stand out.


Some outstanding pieces are her animal jewelry designs,particularly her owls!



Maria also includes a Little Women collection  as seen with  the Blonde Mermaid pendant and the Russian inspired Babushka girl earrings.


She says, "I enjoy making jewelry with lots of colors and smiles!! I usually only make 1 or 2 of each item, but sometimes I make more in other colors!"  And they are all delightful!
