As Easter is not too far off, it's time for more cross tutorials in a variety of techniques.  Don't forget to check out the past ones in the links below.

A dedicated beading enthusiast and teacher, Bee Jang created the beautiful beaded cross tutorial above when asked by one of her readers. More about her other tutorials in another post.

I've mentioned before how useful montees are because they have 4 holes.  Kristina who reads this blog, shared the really easy way to make cross charms using crystal montees on her blog, Wild Roses and Blackberries.  You can then dangle anything to these charms as shown here :

A montee crystal also features in the next beaded cross video tutorial by Beading4perfectionist.  The designer used 2 mm round Swarvoski crystals and 11/0 seedbeads! The tiny crosses can be used as earring or cell phone dangles.

Crochet fans will appreciate this really sweet yarn cross tutorial by Carrie on This Mama Makes Stuff.

No time?  Start them now and they might just be ready in time for Christmas. Hah!

  1. Thanks for the feature! I like those links/charms/connector both because they're easy to make and because they work with so many different types of beads, creating various types of crosses/plus and -- in the case of the heart bead charm -- "flowers".

You know, I often scan the pictures before I actually read blog posts and when I got to my pic first thing going through my head was "oh, look someone's got the same cat pendant as I have!" -- it took a few seconds before actually realising it was my pendant and my photo. Some days I'm just not very attentive! *lol*

You're AWESOME! Thanks for the comment and feedback. You do make a difference on my blog!
