I've mentioned before how useful montees are because they have 4 holes. Kristina who reads this blog, shared the really easy way to make cross charms using crystal montees on her blog, Wild Roses and Blackberries. You can then dangle anything to these charms as shown here :
A montee crystal also features in the next beaded cross video tutorial by Beading4perfectionist. The designer used 2 mm round Swarvoski crystals and 11/0 seedbeads! The tiny crosses can be used as earring or cell phone dangles.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the feature! I like those links/charms/connector both because they're easy to make and because they work with so many different types of beads, creating various types of crosses/plus and -- in the case of the heart bead charm -- "flowers".
ReplyDeleteYou know, I often scan the pictures before I actually read blog posts and when I got to my pic first thing going through my head was "oh, look someone's got the same cat pendant as I have!" -- it took a few seconds before actually realising it was my pendant and my photo. Some days I'm just not very attentive! *lol*
