It never fails to astonish me how popular jewelry making is with no sign of diminishing interest either.  So beadaholics everywhere will appreciate knowing about yet another supplier and a wonderful chance to win some beads.  There is always room for more beads, right?

The Bead Shop is a well established and family run shop located in Manchester, UK. Harvey and Fay Kersh founded it way back in 1993.  Fay succumbed to cancer in 1995 leaving Harvey with four children to raise.  Their son Michael began helping out early on when his mother's health was failing.  The other children, one by one, joined the family business over time. All four of them now run the company when their Dad finally retired.

Kashmiri Beads
The Bead Shop offers jewelry lessons locally.  But their supplies can be purchased through their online store. They offer free shipping in the UK for orders over £30.   They carry common beading supplies but I have shown some of my favorites among the less common ones.

These glass beads are hand painted!

They also offer many jewelry making kits like this charming gingerbread man bracelet and the fireworks burst necklace.
