Some of the best designs are often the easiest! Who would have thought using elastic with crochet would yield such a fabulous result?
The basic tutorial is over at Preciosa-Ornela's site (link no longer available). Nothing could be easier even for inexperienced crocheters! Just string beads on elastic and chain them 3 at a time. Once done, you just thread through the wire be it neck wire or that for a bracelet or earring. The instructions do let you know how much to string for a necklace, bracelet or earring.

Gotta gotta gotta try this! Thanks for spotting this cool thing, Pearl!
ReplyDeleteI know I've wanted to try bead crochet for ages but have been dragging my feet on actually doing it. Maybe it's the pre-stringing of all the beads that I find intimidating. However this one is truly unique and, hopefully, will motivate me to get off my duff and get it a try.
ReplyDeleteToo bad I can't read whatever language the tutorial is in. Bing can't even translate it.
ReplyDeleteIt is worse than that - they have updated their site and I cannot find a link now!! Sigh. I hate it when that happens.
