Jewelry makers use metal blanks as the foundation for covered bracelets. Samantha over at Dollar Store Crafts took that idea to a whole new level when she recycled a can to make her designer inspired cuff!
You have to use the right kind of can to begin with. You'll also have to heed her instructions on how to cover the cut ends. The sky is the limit as to what you use to decorate the can - leather, paper, fabric etc.
After she was done, you couldn't really tell it was once a can! What's more, it looks fabulous!

Great idea! The designer even has templates you can use and she suggests what size can to use. Can't get a better tutorial than that!
