Most lariat necklaces I see are usually just a long strand with embellished ends. But I really like this super long one by B'Sue Boutiques. The ever delightful Brenda Sue shows off a very long vintage beaded lariat necklace in the beginning of her video tutorial and then proceeds to show us how to make your own with " bits of chain, easy peasy beads and simple wire wrapping techniques."
Her mixed lariat necklace design is simply fabulous! It sports different types of chains, dangles and the pièce de résistance is it looks like there is more than one necklace. Be sure to have a pen and paper handy as Brenda Sue reels off the length of each section needed sometime during the video.
A really fabulous and versatile design!

ReplyDeleteThe Lariat is different and doesn't look like the standard, run-of-the-mill versions one finds everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI have found some very different findings and components at B'Sue's and she does come up with some very clever and unique designs and ways to use these findings and components.
I quickly scanned the video, as it is a good 20 minutes in length. I will have to come back later (with pencil and paper) to view it in its entirety. It does look most note worthy. Thanks for sharing this, Pearl.
