Have you come across baroque (irregular shaped) pearls and are wondering what to do with them? Well, here is a tutorial combining both baroque pearls and crystals for a beautiful wire wrapped collar necklace. I love how the pearls are graduated in size.
The tutorial is by Mai Sato-Flores. It is part of a 3-design free ebook from Jewelry Making Daily on beautiful wedding handmade jewelry designs. Note you have to join the site (free) in order to get the book. But I do not think anyone has to be a bride to wear this one! It will look spectacular with a simple strapless dress.
The other two projects includes one on soldered earrings and one on how to make a memory wire cuff.

Beautiful designs
ReplyDeleteThe necklace is beautiful and I've always liked the natural, yet elegant look of Keshi pearls.
ReplyDeleteThough the necklace is lovely, my favorite piece is the earring set. The simple flowing lines gives them a sense of movement and they look so elegant. Being minimally embellished with only 2 small pearls gives them a Zen like quality.
