Consider yourself forgiven if your first glance at this charming bracelet tutorial told you it was a European weave chain maille pattern. Jessah of The Beaded Passion created the illusion for her faux chain mailled bracelet tutorial by making wire figure 8s!
She used her chain nose pliers to make the 8s. The task will yield consistent loops easily if you use bail forming pliers.
Jessah said she loves doing real chain maille but acknowledges starting weaves can be challenging especially for beginners. She had seen a ready made chain that reminded her of chain maille. So she tried making her own.
The use of a glass art ring and larger jump rings really adds color to the design.
