Do you like the flowing, sculptured look in wire wrapped designs?  Where there is a 3D quality about them?  Then check out this wire wrapped lampwork bead tutorial by Carol Ladine Lagoski over on Beading Times.  (UPDATE : fortunately this link was saved in Internet Archives although the original source no longer exists).

The key thing is to use square wire as the flat edges of the wire makes it easier to bundle 3 wires together as each will sit flush with the others. The bundle is treated as one wire.

You will see the use of a pin vise to twist the wire ever so prettily.  I am a fan of pin vises - they are easy to use as shown in this tutorial. I like to use two together for creating short twisted wire lengths (see my tutorial below).  They are inexpensive to buy. Manual wire twisting is often preferable to using a Dremel which is often too fast or inappropriate for a small application like this.

The tutorial is definitely adaptable for creating your own unique design.
