Suzette Bentley of North Carolina had a life long dream of becoming an entrepreneur. But she never really attempted to realize her goal until after she got into jewelry making, a creative niche she enjoyed. Her creations were inspired by her interests in nature, antiques and in people. Soon she wanted to design the kind of components which appealed to her. It didn't take long to move to the next step which is to offer the same creative possibilities to others. And Elements of Antiquity was born.
Her line of aged pewter jewelry supplies target those with creative souls. These 3d pieces are lead and nickel free. Made in the USA too, and not offshore. The elaborate antiquing process which gives the findings depth and character certainly inspired the name of the business!
The best thing about pewter is that it does not tarnish like sterling silver. So these pieces only need a periodic general cleaning. You certainly don't want to remove the gorgeous antiqued look. The silver look though will help make colored designs pop!
Explore the store. Some of my favorite items include the large feather and key designs! Suzette is constantly developing other designs so check back often!

Thanks for this Pearl. I've never heard of this company and these things look great! Oh, good.....a new source for supplies.
ReplyDeleteWow! Simply Wow! I'm completely blown away by someone who does this. Takes an idea - runs with it - and discovers how to go forward and comes out the other side with a viable solution and business!!
ReplyDeletePewter. Love it. Love the warmth and the recognizable characteristics of it. You can tell something is pewter when you see it as it stands out from silver with its distinct qualities.
The softness of the metal feels so incredible next to the skin and touching it leaves one feeling calmer I think. The more you touch it and wear it the better the metal reacts - almost like a good pet!
When I see something is made with pewter I always sigh and have a little smile on my face. It's especially appealing to me and these designs are absolutely magnificent.
Way to go Suzette!!
I'm a fan of Elements of Antiquity, and would love to win this stash!! Thanks for the chance.
