This great sliding knot bracelet tutorial by the Weavers of Eternity Paracord is perfect if you want an adjustable, claspless bracelet. The demonstration uses paracord but there is no reason why you can't use other cords or leather.
Hex nuts were used. But there are plenty of pretty large hole beads out there including the Pandora style ones or ceramic or polymer clay ones such as those available from Kazuri West. If you like making beaded beads, then those are possible too!
