Last week's giveaway for Lisa Niven Kelly's Make Your Own Wirework Findings class drew people like Denise Kunz who said, "I've played around trying to make my own findings and while functional, they're not very professional! Think this could be my ticket to a more polished look!" Not only that, you will also be able to save money!
Aims too made a very good point. She said, "Hand made components - especially clasps and earwires really make your jewelry stand out from the rest. Throwing on mass produced clasps after you work hard to make your original necklace really doesn't make a lot of sense. The finished product has a glaring flaw to it - and it's always the clasp."
Windbent also said, "Because I jump in with both feet (without looking), I feel like there are basic things about working with wire that I don't know and should. It would be great to have some building blocks and learn some fundamentals." I so agree with her. The class may seem geared for beginners but there are so many sound tips to learn from this instructor.
So who won? I numbered all the eligible entries and got the random number generator over at random.org to pick the winner. And that winner is smaranda!! Congratulations!!
There are just a few more hours before Craftsy's wonderful Black Friday event sale ends. Every class is US$17.99 or less. The Craftsy sale will end Monday 11/28 (11:59 pm MT).
