Some days you just want to make some quick and easy jewelry. Quick rewards right?   Check out these colorful thread wrapped double cord bracelet tutorials.  The herringbone thread (embroidery floss) wrapping adds color as well as connects double leather cords together.

Cheri Carlson of Artbeads's easy variation where she limited the bead wrapping to just the middle of the bracelet.

This particular bracelet starts at the button end, not the other way around as some do it.  I prefer to start at the button end as you can easily make a loop for the button at the end.

The thicker leather cord used results in rather large ending knots. If this bugs you, you could use appropriate leather cord ends instead with conventional metal clasps. You'll have to find the glue in kind which can take two cord ends side by side.

You can also omit the beads but use different colored threads as shown by this instructor from Martha Stewart.  I don't particular like the tie on style of closure demonstrated. I would use a button clasp or cord ends instead.
