Tassel jewelry have been around forever. But lately, they have been trending hot! I simply love Cheri Carlson's wonderful tutorial where she combines a traditional diamond patterned brick stitched earrings with cord tassels! Sure beats doing the usual beaded fringe approach.
I like how she used S-lon (Super Lon) thread which is usually used for micro macrame for the tassel. As the cord is untwisted for this design, the shaggy look is very effective!
She demonstrates her unravelling tips here.
