Basically, what you have to do is find a way of reducing the extra space in the hole. One of the ways she mentions is the one I often use - place two bicones on either side - as shown above.
Her other suggestions include different kinds of tubing to go inside the holes. Mylene has some really creative ideas!
As she also mentioned, there are indeed such things as bead aligners (TierraCast) - they are basically daisy rondelles with extensions!

I like big hole beads as compared to trying to drill out pearls... LOL!
