She helpfully counts the wire weaving units to demonstrate when those loops and bends occurs. One wire weaving tip is to work directly from the 26 G wire spool so you avoid the difficulty of figuring out how much wire you need.
The instructor uses 20 G for the foundation wires. As you can see, she uses Parawire. They do have a range of gorgeous colors including rose gold!
