Melody, the designer behind OffbeatMelody, is an American who now lives and works in Cape Town, South Africa. She makes hand cut whimsical creations from sterling silver and brass. She explains "I have always marched to the beat of my own drum which is reflected in the unique and peculiar nature of my work."
Melody was most amused when I called her a jewelry saw expert. But this metal smith must really love saw work and is good at it. Her earrings designs in particular are small and dainty. The earring posts are soldered.
Quirky and delightful. My favorites were her unique pairings like the gorilla and the banana and the goldfish and bubble earrings.
