I first stumbled on Serbian polymer clay artist, Nevenka (Nena) Sabo's work when I was looking for miniature book jewelry. Her store, Art Studio Katherine, has several colorful miniature book pendants. These adorable creations are perfect for bibliophiles! Nena says she herself is a book lover.
Then I explored her store and discovered more colorful designs. She has an eclectic and artistic style. Her tutorials are the standouts. There are also a couple of gorgeous home decor designs.
Nena says, "I am a self taught polymer clay artist. It took just one touch to develop complete addiction to polymer clay in 2007 and so it is today."
Nena became a full time artist back in 2010. She explained, "I opened my Etsy shop in 2012 just after my divorce finalized. As I am rebuilding my life I hope to grow a successful shop here too."
She teaches in her studio, all over Serbia as well as internationally. She is a published designer too. All the best, Nena!
