Readers were intrigued with last week's feature on Pru McRae'sThe Prumihimo Disk and accompanying book. Elizabeth Tiger loved all the inspirational designs shown.  She said, "I love the look of the edge beads and the combination with gemstones that appear to float. I have done Kumihimo with the larger round disc, but I love the simplicity of the disc with such elegant designs."

The simplified system is a huge advantage.  As SneakyBurrito said, "This seems like a great way to get started with kumihimo (I have some of the more complicated disks but they are a bit daunting for a total beginner like me)."

The book is currently only available from Pru's site. So she has to ship the books and disk from the UK.  But it is worth the extra expense for such an innovative method.

So who won?  I numbered all the eligible entries and got the random number generator on random.org to do the picking. The lucky winner is CatChick1964 a.k.a. Maggie Hall. Congratulations!
