Butterflies feature in many jewelry designs and they all vary from each other.  Every designer approaches this popular design element differently.

Russian designer, Natasha Tarasyuk a.k as giennacuffs uses layered wire components to form her butterflies.

As you can see from her tutorial, she first draws her design on paper which then serves as a guide for bending the wire.

Also clever is the double looped length of wire. It is wire wrapped with the top and bottom parts of the butterfly. The top loop is for the ear wire and the bottom, the gemstone dangle. Neat!

The tutorial is not in English. So either use Google Translate or follow my favorite method. For computer users, use the Chrome browser, right click on any white space and select translate to EnglishFor mobile device users, use the Chrome app (free) and agree to the translation when asked.
