Anton Gladkov of WonderlandUkraine comes from a family who loves handicrafts. He too is creative. He explained, "So I wanted to engage myself in something creative and interesting. Besides, I always believed, that creativity and handicraft must be as comfortable as possible and bring only positive emotions! That's why I started producing things aimed to make the work and life of craftspeople easier."
What Anton did is to design and make some gorgeous and unique laser cut wooden bead organizers. They come in different shapes with varying numbers of compartments. He also designs and produces all kinds of embroidery kits and thread organizers - the wooden Christmas ornament section is a must see.
The wood organizers are just as beautiful empty as they are filled with beads. That is because there are etched and engraved designs right on the wood itself.
I got to review some of their products which arrived beautifully packaged. They also have a fabulous anniversary sale - 40 % off for just August 20-21!
Besides the cat bead organizer, there was a mandala bead embroidery kit from their bead embroidery section, as well as this sweet little wood ornament ready for beaded cross stitching. It has a hole for hanging.
Wonderland Ukraine sells bead organizers with or without lids. The cat bead organizer I received has several sections and comes with an acrylic lid.
Those little round discs are very strong magnets. It wasn't difficult to slide the lid open but it was certainly firmly attached. Beads will not drop out. The magnets are also excellent places to put your needle on!
Once I filled it with the beads from the mandala project, I could place the threaded needle inside one of the compartments and close the lid. You cannot leave the needle on the magnet as that will create a gap.
These bead organizers and kits were carefully thought out, designed and put together. The mandala kit came with instructions in both Ukrainian and English. There was not only the beads for the project but also needles and thread, a felt backing, a magnet for the finished ornament and even a little blank gift card!
These kits and wood bead containers will certainly make great gifts for a beader , cross stitcher or bead embroiderer!

ReplyDeleteI browsed through the entire store and came across an owl bead organizer! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLooking at all they offer reminded me of when I had my wool store. I had so many customers that loved to do embroidery of any kind and who would have jumped at owning any of their products. They truly are beautiful and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into designing them and adding that little extra bit of love for crafting.

Happy Birthday to WoderlandUkraine! Of the bead organizers shown in this post, my favorite is the round one with the rounded floral pattern. My all-time favorite, though, is the rectangular one with a black face, with a long leafy branch, in the Etsy shop. :) Time to go shopping on Etsy for a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat creativity! Love the flower.
ReplyDeletewhat a piece of art! even if i wasn't an off-loom bead-weaver i would love to fill the spaces with colors and display the piece as art. as a bead-stitcher i love how organized my beads would be, i'm one who has a hard time working with the beads all mixed. these are amazing!
ReplyDeleteand, by the way.... I love the bee and honeycomb piece on the website! that would be my choice... or the set of three, the owl, cactus and pear... or.... :)
ReplyDeleteI like the flower

The swan is my favorite - if I really have to chose. It's almost a shame to fill the spaces with beads and then use them. They become works of art with the beads in them. Please enter me in the contest. I'm off to spend some time drooling over the items on the website.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful & unique, nothing boring here...these are all such treasures that inspire some creativity while beading! Thank you for introducing this talented person and his shop.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful way to store beads for a project! Love them!
ReplyDeleteI love this company! I have purchased from them and am in love with their bead trays. They are almost too pretty to cover the designs in the wood with beads! They are super fast on shipping and they have great quality. They have so many interesting items.
ReplyDeleteIf on August 26 I happen to be the lucky person, that would be a perfect birthday gift for me since that is my birthday!
