Fixated on beads just for beadweaving?  Don't be!  They can be used in other jewelry projects. Gloria Uhler of Domestic Diva Online shows you how to make chandelier earrings using one of the many types of Czech beads out there today.

These diamond shaped gemduo beads can take jump rings too! As they are two holed, they can be used as connectors  - see the top of the earrings.

Gloria also has a simple trick for making a single jump ring from 20 G wire.  She makes a single wire loop and cuts through the two wires simultaneously.  Bear in mind though that one edge of the wire will not be flush. This is fine if you can hide the seam inside the beads.

If you want flush cut jump rings, then use either flush cutters or a jewelry saw as you can see from this video.
