Polymer clay is an excellent medium for jewelry making. Moldable into any shape, colorful and lightweight!  I can see why so many jewelry designers love working with it and coming up with their own one of a kind pieces - like Bettina Welker of Saarbrücken, Germany.

Bettina is both a graphic designer and a polymer clay artist and instructor. It was her wonderful contemporary style which caught my eye.

She has been a polymer clay artist since 2003.  Bettina said, "I'm a co-founder of the German polymer clay guild Polyclaykunst.de and a member of several international polymer clay guilds. Since 2007, I've taught private classes in my home studio and all over Europe and in the US."

Lucky for us, you do not have to travel to her classes as she has some gorgeous polymer clay tutorials in her store,  BettinaWelker.

I have selected my favorites.  The simple forms and shapes really stand out with beautiful textures and colors.  She also has a book featuring 10 bracelet tutorials.
