Julie Ann, who is from Texas, is the designer behind JulieAnnSmithDesigns. No prizes for guessing what her favorite bead weaving stitch is! She is a big fan of odd count peyote as you can see from her large collection of patterns.
She also has a talent for colors and placement. She has many beautiful odd count peyote patterns. I have chosen the Christmas ones to begin with. She also offers other seasonal designs as well as patriotic ones. My personal favorites are her richly colored and geometric style bracelet patterns.
Her work include the slider style bracelets, easy narrow bracelets as well as lip balm covers. All quick to do if you are thinking of making gifts.

I have to admit I avoid odd-count peyote although I like some of those patterns, especially the geometric ones. I always feel like mine looks bad at the edges but maybe I need more practice. I tend to do more even-count because I can just kind of zone out while I'm working.
