The wire herringbone technique has been around for years. However, there are more ways than one to use it in earring designs.
This tutorial from Crystals and Clay shows 3 different variations. The first one with the dark beads shows the traditional way where the wired "stem" is done on both sides of the beads.
The next one with the amber colored beads shows only one stem while the third introduces not just one sided stems but where the wire on the side is brought to the front. Just lovely!
