You will never find Grace Walters of GraceAlchemy's designs in a typical jewelry store. This New Yorker's exquisitely crafted commitment rings cater to fantasy, gamer, science and anime fans. Not only that, she uses only 100 % recycled and refined precious metals and conflict- free diamonds and gemstones. The diamonds are all Canadian sourced.
The level of detail is amazing for her custom made designs. Grace begins with a hand drawn design which is then converted to a 3D CAD design in the client's desired size and specifications. This is 3D printed in a castable wax for the lost wax technique. The rings are then hand set and finished.
The Forest Guardian ring shown above is from the anime world. She also has several Harry Potter inspired designs like the owl, snitch, Basilisk and the Godric sword and lion ring for Griffindor House.
I also love her unusual designs like the hidden skulls ring where you can keep your Goth tastes private! The mobius ring is also a fascinating construction.
You can see why I rave about her excellent interpretation of themes and her awesome skills.

I may be too old to know what many of those designs are! however, they are all stunning in detail and design. so unique!
ReplyDeleteShe is good! Inspirational. Love how she's taken a theme and run with it.
ReplyDeleteLove the Mobius Ring. Completely off subject, but I hear a newscaster trying to interview a person who was trying to defend the "stolen election". After hearing his arguments, he caleed the discussion a "mobius strip of logic".
ReplyDeleteA mobius strip is a good analogy for a one sided never ending loop of thinking.
Delete"In mathematics, a Möbius strip, band, or loop, also spelled Mobius or Moebius, is a surface with only one side and only one boundary curve." from Wikipedia.
Some journalists are delightfully clever with their analogies.
I think this is some of the most interesting and beautiful jewelry I've seen.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the feature, Pearl!
