The British instructor is Fiona Abel- Smith of PolyOriginals. Listening to her is almost an ASMR experience as she has a lovely soothing voice.
She shares many tips including how to do a Skinner Blend. Holes are poked through the clay before baking. Then the sewing begins!
I like how she baked a second time with a small piece of clay to cover the knots at the back. She also gently added little indentations in the clay of this piece to ensure better contact between both layers of clay.
As you can see, she has a strong affinity for color.
