It's never easy to make dainty earrings especially studs. But Estonian wire artist of Suzy Wong Studio accomplishes it easily with her sunflower stud earrings tutorial. She calls them sunflower studs but I also envisage sun bursts!
20G wire is used for the main stud and foundation while 22G wire is used for the rays which surround the 6 mm bead. Make sure to use soft tempered wire for the wrapping part as the wire has to around the wire foundation several times.
One thing to note : allow some space between the bead and the circular wire foundation because the wrapping wire has to have space.
