I first came across Marla's work when I featured her clever take-apart beaded Christmas tree tutorial in this past post - 6 Gorgeous Beaded Christmas Tree Tutorials.
But that is not all Marla can do. This Washington based designer of CatFancyCreations, offers a number of 3D project tutorials as well as those for jewelry. Shown here are some of my favorites.
She explained a little about herself :
I have been beading for about 15 years, teaching (and simple designing) for about 8 years, and seriously designing for about 2 years. My favorite thing is figuring out HOW to make the beads do what I want them to do! Then, figuring out how to present that idea so other people can reproduce it.
Most of my work is geometric based, as my professional background is an engineer, and I'm really into numbers. In addition, I spent many years working as a technical writer, writing proposals, instruction manuals, and deliverables. Because of this experience, my tutorials are very straight forward.
Check out her store and see what she has!
