At first glance, these earrings look like real copper ones which have been through a texture mill and then had patina added.  But they are not. They are made from polymer clay and the best part is, they are super easy to make.

This great beginner polymer clay project is by Ludmila who is the US based designer and instructor behind SweetBijouxPro, a Youtube channel full of beautiful tutorials.

She starts with black clay which is then textured then colored with metallic powder and paint before baking. I like her tip of using a simple accordion- folded cardstock to get the bowed shape.

You can purchase her professional grade tools, cutters, texture plates etc including those used in the video, from her website : SweetBijoux.
