Remember that tassel making tutorial I shared not too long ago? Angela, the instructor, used the paper sleeve to help keep the floss strands together. But the tassel is a large one because it uses the entire skein.

Watch this tutorial on how to make two small tassels from one embroidery floss skein. The Japanese instructor is Ray of RAY-DIY Craft, a super channel for all things crafty.

The paper sleeve is halved so it can be used for both tassels. As the same skein is used for two tassels, the resulting tassels are less bulky.

The tutorial includes a string and crystal holder. However, you can substitute the string for wire for jewelry making. These small tassels will suit earrings. Use suitably sized end caps such as the ones from Tierracast
