Canadian beadwork designer, Kim, of BeadWithBugs, has a wide collection of patterns. She designs not just jewelry but also tea lights, ornaments, pen covers and even coasters.  It's such a variety that I divided my features to first feature her Christmas ornaments last November

Her designs are often fun and distinctive which mostly, will not take a whole month of Sundays to make. If that is the way you like to make things, then her multitude of patterns are for you!
I am a Canadian based bead pattern designer living on Vancouver Island off of the west coast of Canada. I have always been creative whether it was cross stitch, crochet or jewelry making. I am completely self taught and began beading in 2007.
I intended to bead interesting components for the jewelry that I was making but that didn't last beyond my first peyote stitch bracelet. I was hooked. I would spend hours looking at beautiful beading, researching the stitches used, practicing them and finally creating with them. My obsession was born.
I opened my Etsy shop in 2014 and let it languish for a year because sometimes life gets in the way but once life settled down, I let the creativity flow freely. Words simply cannot express the joy I get from designing, beading, chatting with customers or other pattern designers. This truly is my happy place.
