I hope I can stop drooling long enough to do a deep dive into their offerings Pearl.
ReplyDeleteIt's unfortunate that people browsing our wares can't seem to appreciate the unique possibilities one can get from using these types of gemstones in a piece. They have no clue about the artists behind one's piece. They often look at us as nutjobs when our eyes get wider and fill with excitement when we see them looking at pieces created with these types of gemstones!
Ah well - it gives me a type of pleasure that only comes from using these artistic and gorgeous gemstones.
I purchase too many gemstones online. I've been buying online for about 12 yrs. I bought that little purse. I have about 8-10 places I buy from after having many bad experiences and wasting too much money. I will only buy from these places. First lesson I learned.....Be careful of the pretty pics.
ReplyDeleteI think one of the problems with some vendors is that they do not retake new photos for actual products. They use just stock images which they photograph only once for a particular gemstones. As you know, there is considerable variation in natural gemstones so the risk is there that the photos don't match the products you receive.
DeleteEye candy!! I wanted so badly to touch, fondle, hold, rub these beauties! I can imagine how the glossy Tiger Eye feels, and the dry feeling of the Kyanite, and the silky-slick pearls. oh my! so much potential here.
