It will soon be Mother's Day. Here are 5 fabulously lovely beaded flower earrings to make for that special mother in your life! Beaded flower jewelry will outlast floral bouquets.
First up is the best wisteria inspired beaded earrings tutorial (shown above) I have ever come across. It is by Ukrainian bead artist, Liudmyla of MilaKimStore.
Want something smaller? Check out the stud earrings tutorials such as this one by EzartesaJewelry. She has some excellent floral beaded jewelry tutorials as shown in my previous feature.
Another of Ezartesa's designs is this lavender flower beaded pearl earring dangle tutorial below.
I love this floral beaded fringe earrings by LilibeadPatterns. Asymmetrical yet matching in a gorgeous colour palette.
This lovely beaded flower earrings tutorial below uses bold rose petal beads and small rivolis. I also liked the earrings findings - very contemporary. The designer is Polish bead artist, Irina of LatarniaArt.
The Trials and Tribulations of (Monkey) Motherhood
It's not easy bearing children. For centuries, many women died in childbirth - they still do in poorer countries. But luckily for us, maternal and infant deaths are now much lower due to advances in medical care. But birthing babies is only just the beginning.
Motherhood, even for our distant primate cousins, is challenging and exhausting. This orangutan mother in a UK primate sanctuary hilariously attempts to grab her little runaway. Watch till the end!

ReplyDeleteI'm laughing....baby reminds me of my little grandson. I made the fringe earrings for my Daughter-in-Law and I went batty. So many colors that look the same...took me a long time and if she sees the wisteria earrings she will want them I love Ezartesa's designs but I'm afraid to tackle her patterns they look "advance" I think I will try the flower pattern. I really like them
