Magazine Success
Part 2 of 2

I love to feature inspirational designers whose work is lovely to behold. Sometimes I receive wonderful thank yous from them. One Etsy artisan actually took the time to tell me that she made a sale because of my post!

Whenever I can, I rewrite the post and submit it to Trendhunter, huge online trend magazine with over 9 million views a month. The editorial criteria to get accepted on Trendhunter is different so I've been able to forward far fewer designers than I like. The greater exposure will certainly help them. I didn't realise how much until Israeli based Julia Goland contacted me again, a year after I featured her Forest Inspired Jewelry on my blog as well as on Trendhunter.

Julia wanted me to upload two new leather art rings to the original Trendhunter post. These are whimsical house rings - the one on the left is a Holland house creation, the right one an Ukrainian house. These are new signature pieces from her leather collection. Her design and technical skills are outstanding. Shown above is her leather mosaic collar necklace.

Here are her leather shelf necklaces :

She also told me that original Trendhunter article triggered an avalanche of feature blog posts and articles which Julia listed here - she is of Russian descent so it is in Russian. But you can see it is a pretty long list! However, the highlight of her wonderful year was when her bonsai inspired ring was featured in Complot magazine. Way to go, Julia!
