Supporting Ukrainian Artisans
Some great designers are so productive that I find featuring them just once is not enough. Such is the case with Polina of CrazyAcademy. I featured her patterns and kits for her unusual beaded loom necklaces before. But she does so, so much more.

I particularly love her large selection of beaded earrings - both fringe and hoop styles. Even within a single theme like peacocks - one of the feather ones is shown above - she has several design options.

This design for a combination of poppies and the colors of the Ukrainian flag is especially poignant given that the war there is still raging on.  Poppies are used for Remembrance Day, first inspired by the poem "In Flanders Fields" written by John McCrae, a Canadian surgeon. He performed the burial service for his close friend, Alexis Helmer, and wrote his lament the next day. He was inspired by the sight of poppies around the makeshift grave- poppies were the first flowers to grow in battle scarred grounds.

Polina also has a supply section.  Other designs I liked included the beaded fly! Also check out her Youtube channel
