Amanda Brittin is a talented silversmith whose work caught my eye on BlueSky, the newish social media site. I not only loved her nature inspired designs but her style. She often places her design elements in novel ways. For example, the tree frog necklace below as well as the bird and kyanite and the raven in flight pendants. Can you spot the octopus one?
I love colour and injecting a little whimsy and humour into my artwork. My creativity runs the gamut - I make vibrant canvas floorcloths and funky furniture, crazy mosaics and colourful paintings. My jewelry is made from sterling and fine silver, bronze, 14 k gold and a great selection of semi-precious stones. Whatever I create, I try to make the piece fun so that it will bring a bit of joy to you every time you use it!
