Grace may only be eight years old but she is already an accomplished beader. She has made many pieces of jewelry on her own.
Beadweaving though was new to her but she took to it like the proverbial duck to water! Grace used two beading wires and some seed beads to come up with this necklace on the left and matching bracelet on the right. She added pink beads to both wires which then crossed in opposite directions through the middle red bead. The pattern is then repeated for two very pretty pieces of jewelry. Simple, yet effective.

Although not normally a fan of the colour pink - I think Grace's bead-woven creation is beautiful. I will have to try the technique myself someday and see if I measure up to this creative 8-year old :)
