Fortunately, Debbie (Widget's Beads) is rather fond of red coral herself and had a newly purchased strand in her collection. Erin actually landed up with a far more attractive necklace in the end because she also added large oval labradorite (another of Debbie's weaknesses) beads to her design. She was so pleased that she also made a matching bracelet!
It's not often that we get to see the "after" so I was thrilled to bits when Erin offered to send pictures of herself modelling her lovely gemstone parure at the wedding. Thanks, Erin for sharing! You look just gorgeous and deserve all the compliments you received for your jewelry designs too!

Red Coral and Labradorite Necklace for a Wedding
Erin had attended a beading party before. So when she couldn't find any jewelry to go with her new outfit to attend an out-of-town wedding, she came to our workshop! Erin told us her sad story of her fruitless shopping expeditions and finally finding one necklace she liked - a strand of all red coral - only to discover she couldn't afford the shop's asking price of $500! Yes, $500. I kid you not.
