Contemporary Zipper Jewelry Style

I keep finding delightful zipper jewelry. Here is one which particularly charmed me - the Sydney based Australian Cynics' Zip-it necklaces. Their creations are not just quirky but have a contemporary look about them. Rather slimming too!

The Zip it necklaces are handmade from real zippers and created in antique silver and antique gold tones. Their inspiration? People who talk too much!

They also offer Zip-it ball 'n' chain earrings to go with the necklace which are made from real zipper pulls in the same two metallic finishes. These are provided with surgical steel backs.

If you are keen to try your own zipper jewelry, check out my past post on the zipper flower tutorial.

  1. I didn't care for the the past zipper jewelry much, although I am always astounded by the creativity. But these are cute!

  3. Great article about using zippers! I wanted to share this designer with you because my jaw dropped open and I still can't figure out how it is done! A purse made entirely of a zipper that unzips down to just being a zipper, but zips back up into a bag??? check it out...http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22073510

  6. While the zipper bag is amazing, I like the zipper jewelry better. What do you do with the zipper bag when it is unzipped?
