Were you impressed with resin photo pendants/charms featured in the recent post on Star Trek jewelry but don't have any silversmithing skills? Well, there is an easy way to try it out. Use pre-soldered, ready to use frames or bezels. I came across an Etsy supply shop called - wait for it - SuppliesForU!
This Long Island based artisan caters to resin jewelry artisans and those who like to do scrabble tile and framed art pendants. Here are some of her offerings which includes flex molds for resin cabochons (below right) and even bracelets. Via

ReplyDeleteOh, I also wanted to mention there is a deco art product called triple thick that works similar to resin without harsh chemicals. It might be worth checking out.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of triple thick before. Thanks for the tip, Lisa! Anything that avoids harsh chemicals is a good thing.
