Makershed.com supplies the Truth Wristband - a cool gadget for the next occasion you want to interrogate your daughter's new boyfriend! If nothing else, this unusual "jewelry" will provide for some wholesome fun at your next party or family reunion.
It works by measuring galvanic skin response from micro-bursts of sweat and thus the emotional arousal of the wearer much the way lie detectors do. So when you lie, the gadget display turns from blue to red.
Want to see it in action? Then check out this Youtube video. Towards the end, the display even turned red when the volunteer was tickled. Then when he answered an embarrassing question truthfully, it again turned red because both times he was emotionally aroused. That's why lie detectors are not foolproof.
It only costs $45 but assembly is required. It is an electronic kit which will need some soldering skills.
