Mother of pearl shells are always lovely in jewelry designs. They have a shimmery quality about them which is probably why Debbie chose the green ones in her bracelet and earrings set. The beads are from another Debbie, my friend and co-instructor's collection.
She teamed the triangular wedges of mother of pearl with small peridot colored pearls. For a contrast, she picked off white pearls - a safe choice as these greens are not that easy to work with. The bar and toggle clasp should make wearing and removing the bracelet easier.

MOP beads always make me think of summer and the beach, especially combined with pearls and other sea-related beads or charms.
ReplyDeleteLove the tutorials. I have some wool roving (in beautiful colors) that I have wanted to use. Now I don't have any excuse - I must make something out of it!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty mother of pearl necklace - I like the green and white together. Makes me think of summer as well.
What a great looking necklace! I love those shapes and colors together!
ReplyDeleteMe too, wonderful combination of beads and shapes!
