Feather jewelry always has that element of drama. But you cannot be more dramatic than Owlita,the brainchild of Oregon designer, Ashley Doty.
The inspiration behind the colorful and flamboyant earring collection came from a real owl which lived in the backyard tree next to her bedroom window.
Her hobby took off after she showcased some of her earrings with a clothing company at a trade show. Owlita is now a full time occupation operating out of a real studio instead of her kitchen table! The jewelry is available from her website as well as various stockists in both the US and Canada.
