One inspiring artisan is Michelle, who recently opened her store on Etsy called Shop Mich L. She makes incredible upcycled jewelry from the most unlikely of materials. Check out her store and see what I mean.
I first came across her work in her fun blog called Mich in LA and became an instant fan. She constantly exercises her considerable creative muscles so she has her readers guessing what she made her jewelry from! There are guessing contests, too.
I featured her jewelry from fly swatters before. Shown here are a mystery collection of some of her designs she wrote about. Can you guess what they are made from before clicking on the answers? This is just a small sampling from her highly creative mind! She also shares tutorials in her blog if you want to make your own upcycled jewelry items.

ReplyDeleteNow this girl really looks at the world in a whole new way ! Who woulda thunk it? Guess I need to spend more time in my local Dollar Store but I doubt that I could be as clever or ingenuous as Michelle. Plus in the end everything looks fantastic, so bright, cute, funky and fun.
ReplyDeleteI didn't guess a single thing. Amazing. :)
