Who says paracord jewelry is only for men?  Take a look at the awesome work of Jaclyn Mayer and you'll have to agree that paracord can be made to look not just feminine but utterly fashionable.

Californian born Jaclyn Mayer has studied design in prestigious schools including getting an MA from the London College of Fashion.

Her jewelry line began back in 2004 and was selected as the designer to watch in Lucky Magazine. She has gone on from there. Her designs have been featured in numerous magazines.

They are stocked by Neiman Marcus as well as several boutiques in the US and abroad.  Some are available on her website.

Ashby Necklace
Franklin Cuff

It's not just the use of paracord and climbing rope but her uncanny combination with jersey strips and various chains which make her work a standout. The pieces range from single strands to complex interlocked designs. Shown here are my favorites from her Fall/Winter 2011 collection where neutral shades shine.

Crosby Bracelets

Jaclyn is so creative that she is constantly coming up with new highly fashionable collections each year.  Here is a quick peek at her 2012 collection that she let me share with you.  The tribal look adds elegance with a touch of color to any outfit.  These can be worn alone or in combination with other pieces.
