The versatility of twin holed beads is infinite! Bead weavers already know how useful these types of beads are. But they can also be used with wire. Check out this tutorial by the Domestic Diva where the twin beads are wired such that they form a bezel around a lamp work bead.
She does make things easier by first connecting the twin beads with thinner wire then wire wrapping them to a thicker wire frame she created for the beads to sit on. Really clever!

It IS clever, Pearl. I like the fact that she has the tutorial in step-by-step written form rather than a video. Videos are great but it is difficult to sit down with one's beads and supplies in front of a PC monitor while trying to follow a video tut. I've been there, done that and find having a printed copy of the step-by-step is so much easier.
