Beginners may only think of flat chandlier findings but bead caps sure work too. I think this latter bead cap approach is nearer to real chandeliers! Here is another take on beaded tassel earrings using bead caps. The tutorial is by Amy Cousin.

Great idea! And yes, good for practicing - I usually end up with a lot of beads on double eye pins but I can always use them in other designs :)
